What kind of gear do you use?
I am a die-hard Nikon gal. It's just what I started with and "if it ain't broke"...
I am well versed in artificial light but I also typically try to use natural light as much as possible. It brings out the nuances of emotion in a way that just can't be beat.
Do all sessions automatically come with all digital files?
All product packages include the web-optimized files for future smaller printing and digital use. See the reason addressed in the next frequently asked question.
Do I have to order prints through you?
No! The files included in session packages are optimized for digital use and printing up to 5"x7" only, but will do so while still retaining great quality. To print larger than that you can purchase the full-sized files individually or the entire gallery.
It is my privilege to serve and assist you in creating high-quality wall art with your new images. Keep in mind, when you purchase an image as wall-art, it will automatically have the full-sized file included as a backup for safe keeping. I am passionate about your images ending up on your walls, or in your custom album, in the proper colors, in the highest of quality products, but I do understand sometimes that is not feasible due to budgets.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
I am definitely open to capturing your incredible memories wherever you might be on the map. I have traveled for clients and would love to do it more! Contact me to work out the details!
Do you have male clients also?
Occasionally I will work with gentlemen for their needs as well! It is a case by case type of thing but women are my brand's heart and soul.
Do you show or sell the unedited files?
I do not provide my clients with RAW files.
RAW files are unedited, therefore flat, and they are not the end result we are collaborating to achieve. A
large part of why you hire a photographer is for their eye and editing style and that
involves completing and perfecting images. The images that you receive
will tell your story beautifully.
You wouldn’t order a cake and expect the baker to deliver the cake and a
box of the raw ingredients, right? The same goes for photography. You are
paying for the final product.
